Sonder is the second studio album by Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy, which was released in 2022. It was reissued in 2023 with the added track of "Don't Forget Me." The title "Sonder" is a neologism that refers to " the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own."

Dermot Kennedy went on tour in 2023 to North America, the UK, and Europe to support the album. Sonder, which peaked at 74 on the US Billboard 200 in 2022-2023, has been a significant part of Dermot's musical career.

The digital painting vinyl cover I created features a portrait of Dermot Kennedy in front of Red Rocks Amphitheater, located in Morrison CO. I chose to add Red Rocks Amphitheater because I watched Dermot's performance during his 2023 Sonder Tour. This piece keeps true to the original portrait of Dermot while adding a personal touch of the background.
